The Best Twin Buggy

This inline double is designed to expand with you and your family. It comes with a variety of seating options that can be used by twins or children of different ages. Its foam-filled rubber tires never go flat and its soft suspension makes light work of kerbs.

It folds up super-flat and satisfies the weight requirements of airlines gate-checks making it easy to carry. It also comes with a large storage basket under the seat, and the sun canopy is four panels.

Leclerc Influencer

With its sleek design, auto-folding and cabin-approved dimensions, the Leclerc Influencer is a great option for flyers. Its folded (and unfolded) size is 47cm which slightly exceeds the IATA standard of 45cm. However, it still meets the regulations of hand luggage for airlines and can be stored in the overhead lockers during flights (Subject to Airline Approval). We found it was easy to clean using just a wipe down, and there were plenty of extras available such as nappy bags, footmuffs and buggy organiser bags that fit onto the handles and hoods that provide UV50and protection.

It's easy to maneuver up and down stairs, and it can fit through tight spaces such as narrow streets, shops and Jane's terrace home. The bumper bar can double as a carry handle and there's a large, flip-flop friendly brake with a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than the other models, but it will still accommodate a huge changing bag. There are also trays for storing snacks, drinks and toys.

It is suitable for babies from birth. There are adaptors available to pair it with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot. The backrest is cleverly folded down to make it ideal for naps or long walks. The magnetic 5-point harness makes it simple to use. It's also light, weighing just 6.6kg. A travel bag is included.

Joie Evalite Duo

The British brand Joie has a mission to "share joy with new parents" by designing pushchairs that are "functional and stylish, as well as innovative". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is the brand's most recent product. It's designed to accommodate two children at once unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also offers stadium seating that lets both children see the world at once.

The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the most lightweight strollers for children available. It is suitable for use from birth and can be used with a Joie car seats or carrycots. It's easy to drive or ride, lift, and fold and the frame expands in width to accommodate the second seat.

Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is a highlight of the Evalite Duo, and they were amazed by how fast and easily it can be put together. However, they did note that it's more difficult to navigate bumps and rough terrain than other models.

double strollers  can't fully recline, so parents had to use their hands to lower it. This is something they would prefer to avoid when traveling with young children. However, they believe that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that could be perfect with a few adjustments. And they appreciate that it's small and compact when folded!

iCandy Peach

iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that offers parents all the options they require. It is compatible with a variety of car seats and folds up easily with a single click. It comes with a range of accessories, including liners and raincovers. Other brands charge separately for these.

iCandy Peach is a favorite among parents who are fashion conscious, thanks to its stylish and modern jersey fabrics. The 2022 model of the Peach has been subjected to a variety of minor tweaks to improve the performance and function without sacrificing style.

The addition of a ride on board makes this the perfect option for twins. It's also smaller than the previous Peach model, yet it still offers all the space your children may require.

This is a great double stroller If you are looking for something elegant and versatile. You can use it from the beginning as a single stroller and then purchase a double-kit for it to be a twin buggy. It has a large basket and five reclining positions that ensure maximum comfort for your child. It also features a one-handed fold and an integrated carry strap. The only downside is that it's somewhat heavy to store when not in use particularly since it folds into two pieces instead of one.

iCandy Orange

This is the best twin buggy available. The seats are well-padded and can be outfitted with luxurious footmuffs or liners which will keep your children warm in cold weather. The carrycot slots onto the Orange chassis easily with gates that open and is comfortable and spacious. The seat and carrycot are set up in various configurations, and the Orange chassis can accommodate an incredible 30 different possible combinations.

The wheels are made to handle rough roads and terrain. It also comes with a large shopping basket that's ideal for supermarkets with large sizes. The pushchair is smooth to drive, with a light feel and the pedal brake that is rounded is easy to use (but not a flip-flop-friendly model). It's not the easiest to fold, and the latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to open. After it's folded, the front wheels tuck under the basket, and the chassis can free-stand easily.

The Orange is a great choice for style-conscious parents who have children or toddlers and want a buggy that'll be able to grow with them. It's also a good option for parents expecting another child in the not-too-distant future who require a flexible double pushchair. The iCandy Orange may not be inexpensive, but its versatility should ensure it will last for a long time and increase its resale price. It's also possible to equip it with a buggy board, which can reduce the number of siblings fighting over seats.

Mountain Buggy Duet

Established by an Australian, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand to focus on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is sleek and slim and is able to slide through the doorways and move easily around tight shopping aisles. It is among the most compact and full-featured double buggies that are available and has been awarded numerous awards including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.

The seats are narrow enough for children of varying age groups to comfortably sit together, and the seats are independently adjustable, allowing children to choose their preferred position. The large canopy has the ability to flip out sun visors and the storage bin is spacious. It works with most brands and accepts two infant car seat adapters when you purchase car seats.

The only issue is the weight. It is heavy at 32.4 pounds, and it could be difficult to lift out and into of the trunk for Grandma. And, it is more expensive than most other side-by-side double buggies. However, it has been made to last and has numerous features for the price. It's a good option for parents in urban areas who don't want to lug around a heavy stroller. And, the padded harnesses and 5-point buckle ensure safety for babies.

Bugaboo Donkey Twin

The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a stylish, functional and beautiful buggy with a an elegant design. It's a great product, but it's not without flaws.

It offers very few extra amenities, both for kids and parents. The only thing provided by the side bin is that it is only available only when one seat in the car is attached. There are no parent trays cup holders, cup holders or accessory pockets, and this could cause problems for long trips.

The seats aren't very flat, and the gap between the seats is quite large. Our 5-year-old had difficulty sitting back comfortably. It's a shame given that it's a premium vehicle.

On the positive side, it's a easy to maneuver and the swivel wheels are great for climbing up the steps and slopes. It's also narrow enough to pass through most doors and folds up easily for stress-free storage and transportation. Additionally, it can be switched into mono mode with just three clicks if you require more space or a quick getaway. It can even accommodate a third kid with the comfort wheeled board should you're in need of. It's pricey, however if you're on a budget there are alternatives out there. If you're a fan of the brand and can afford it, it's well worth the cost.
